Time After Time Event Quest

Summoners!

Kang the Conqueror has been travelling across Eras, attempting to disrupt key events! Join Cable and Bishop as they travel to different Eras of Marvel history to preserve their important events, and stop Kang from upsetting the temporal balance of the Battlerealm!

If You're Lost You Can Look and You Will Find Me...

This event runs for 4 weeks, with a new Chapter of the Quest unlocking every week (2 Chapters will be available Week 1). Each of the 5 Chapters will focus on a different era of Marvel Comics History: The Golden Age, The Silver Age, The Bronze Age, The Copper Age, and the Modern Age!

The Quests

Each Chapter consists of 5 Quests, each with 1 path that is gated behind a different Required Champion. The number of overall paths will increase with each Chapter, but there will only be 1 gated path per quest.

Don’t have the required Champions? Don’t worry! You can acquire them from featured Era Crystals or Grandmaster Featured Era Crystals, that start running the same week that the Chapters are unlocked, and run until the end of the entire event.

No luck with those crystals? Don’t worry! You’ll have plenty of chances to earn Unified Crystals that contain the required champions over the month!

Unified Crystals

Unified Crystals come in 2 varieties: Unified Crystals and Grandmaster Unified Crystals. These crystals only contain the Champions needed to pass the Champion Requirement Gates. The Unified Crystal will be available for 2000x Unified Crystal Shards, or you can spend 4000x Unified Crystal Shards for a Grandmaster Unified Crystal, if you are Uncollected or Cavalier.

From September 25th to October 2nd, a 2-Star Basic Unified Hero Crystal containing the required Champions will replace Versus Crystals in Quickmatch.

NOTE: These 2-Star Unified Basic Hero Crystals found in Quickmatch will only contain "Basic" versions of these Champions, which means that duplicating Champions will not award any Crystal Shards, but only the 1 Signature Level increase that 2-Star Champions gain from Duplication.

Where do I get Unified Crystal Shards?

In addition to getting Unified Crystal Shards from the Time After Time event, you can find Unified Crystal Shards in Milestone and Rank rewards for 2 new, limited-time only, 24 hour Solo Events!

Time Paradox Solo Event
Tear the fabric of time and space to fight yourself! Earn points by using any Champion to fight against the same Champion. Earn Bonus points for using a specific Champion from that Era of the week.

This event will run on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Mondays, and Tuesdays starting at 10am PT.

Gold Spend Solo Event
This one is simple! Spend Gold to earn points! This event will be run on Saturdays and Sundays, starting at 10am PT.

The Rewards

This Event, and all of the events surrounding it, are all about celebrating 80 Years of Marvel characters, and we’re doing that by loading the rewards up with Champion Crystals!

First, let’s take a look at the rewards you can receive if you fully explore all 4 Difficulties:

This event kicks off on September 4th, and will last until October 2nd! You must update to the latest version of the game to take part!

Note: Unified Crystals will continue to be available for 1 week after the end of the event, so you can spend any unused Shards on them after the event closes, but will not be able to earn any more.

This month would be almost good, but for some reason they decided to make it as unenjoyable as possible by locking all rewards behind 100% exploration and make it time locked, so we have to wait 3 weeks to get any rewards, and it ruins it all. 2/10

The unified shards they added to the arenas this week are amazing and dwarf the shards in the solo events and the time after time quest. Every 3 or 4 arena milestones now gets you a 5% chance at a 5-star (for uncollected). Anyone know how long this will continue for?

the daily time after time quest challenge was great before but over the last 2 days with taskmaster and nw sabertooth, just plainly un-enjoyable.

I do give them credit for the arenas though.

so now this daily challenge requires 8 energy to count as one fight towards the milestone, or we can spend units to refresh our duels? How annoying is this set up? Don't you think keeping it to champs at the first energy tile in quests is more fair, considering we're having to go out of our way and search for these targets and do them over and over every day?

I only made it to the 4th milestone this morning and stopped. I probably wont do this one beyond duels. Bad design guys.

The arena shards are awsome and the rest of the event isn't. And frankly i think it is great the shards are in arenas in greater numbers than elsewhere, cause most of the top alliance players don't even bother to play any arenas anymore...and i hope they do more of this kind of shard addition (2-5*'s) just like this arena, with a single type of shards for 2 tiers of crystals! It has been the most fun part of the event and added some bonus to the grinding that too often is unrewarding.

The gold spend and the pardox events are just dumb! A way for those who do not care for grinding to exploit up some shards for this month crystals without breaking a sweat. But even searching up someone to fight is too much work! And it absolutely is given the rewards...

That has been about the extend of my gold rewards for the special "unified" gold crystals! Every time i have opened a pair. Kinda a laugh. I get 10k out of ordinary arena crystals...so buying them and searching for champs to fight for those lil amounts of gold, 850 unified shards and the remainder of the awards exactly what we recieve on regular solo events are just not fun. The arena shards are far and away, the best part of this event!

Wondering this too. Adding up all the shards we get, including every individual quest at 125x5x5, I come to a sum total of 6,775. Unless the individual quest scale WAY up after chapter 2, I don't see how we can come to 10k shards total.
They should scale up

They will scale up because there will be more paths in the last few quests

same here. i got all of heroic and master done except for one path in each because i havent got any star of The Thing. So frustrating!

Cmon guys you'll be able to do 1v1 for a crystal that will have 2* of every champ needed for gates. Itll be super easy and wont take alot of time. Theyve done this before.

2 per quest for the first 2 chapters, then 3, 4, and 5 per quest respectively for the three chapters after that. And the difficulty goes up a bit.

2 5* crystals / 10 4* crystals / 30 PHC

And several other with 3* and ultimate crystals.

I STILL CANT GET ANY VERSION OF THE CHAMPION!! How can I beat the event if I can't get it? And I have less than two weeks!
