Why do opponents play different in AQ vs Arena

I bet Kabam programmed them different

And no it isn’t the node buff for map 4 and 5

Basically the champs in AQ are

- More aggressive
- When you try to parry at beginning. It only works 25% of the time or less
- Opponent will wait for you to unblock if your holding one then smack you while waiting in front of you
- They seem to break out of combos
- They are just smarter overall

And no it ain’t a node buff There is nothing there for r just simple things. Basically Kabam programmed AQ differently vs arena One of those unadvertised things I’m done spending

The arena have a variable degree of difficulty, and you are playing other players champs with their talents. Even still my parry works all the time at the begining if they charge in. I have never seen a champ break out of a combo in AQ.

In arena AI is much more passive and not willing to unleash specials.

I want to say they maybe meant their masteries and not talents, but I'm not sure.

Well, AQ has a time limit and arena does not

I’ve been playing this game for years and trust me AQ opponents of the same type in arena masteries and all are different. Anyone who has played the games can tell AQ opponents are programmed differently even without node buffs

I never said it did. There is the difficulty of the AI, as well as their talents (masteries)

Do you not play very far into each arena to know that the AI switches gears once you get past around 15-20 for a Streak ??

Let’s inexperienced players go against a more relaxed AI during earlier matches in arena, before becoming faster and more aggressive later on (when newer players probably don’t have as high of Hero teams needed to continue on into Infinite Streak anyways). Although, I wish the AI switched into high gear sooner, like when the Thanos/Kang matchups start.

So, yes, it is very apparent to everyone that there are multiple levels to the AI's play (and even differences between other lower content and higher content quests, AQ/AW, etc).
