Are awakening gems random?

Funny enough this gem doesn’t seems random. I saw more than 40 people including me getting gem that already exists on account multiple times.
What can I say, RNG is clearly not in our favor or it’s not really equal 1/6...who knows 🤭

Lol! I’m saying that’s it’s funny that people getting the same gem that already exists in the account one or multiple times and only that gem. For example I only had mutant gem and guess which one I got. I saw many messages from people that had only one class in inventory 1 or couple times and got that class. Of course it’s funny, but same time sad

That's the probability, but that doesn't account for the fact that each pull is a separate occurrence. It isn't swayed by the previous outcome, and that probability formula doesn't really explain recurrences with RNG. Each Crystal you open is a separate occurrence. It isn't even the consecutive outcomes. You would have to have access to all pulls in the game to see that sequence. Simply put, each time you roll the Crystal, it has an equal chance to go any of the six ways. That formula won't explain much at all, other than you think it's rare. You're also not opening 9 Crystals. You're opening one.....tic, toc.....then one.....tic, toc,.....in between those, other outcomes are being generated.

That’s all assuming the crystal is random. Again... find me one for profit institution that prefers random outcomes vs predictable profit. There aren’t any. You’ve set up a false argument. Kabam isn’t simply rolling dice. And you don’t actually know their intent or their coding.

But you didn't buy these AGs. They have nothing to profit from at all. You can 100% prove its random. You assume the gsme scans your inventory and gives you the one you least desire on purpose. How does the game know what I actually want? If I get 3 tech gems in a row, how would the game know whether I'm saving those because I don't have Ghost, Mysterio or Warlock who need to be awakened?

When someone wants 1 thing from a choice of 6, the actual chance of you getting what you want decreases since youve mentally eliminated 5 other choices. The possibility of you being disappointed goes up as well.

The game can't know you're true intentions. You are just looking for reasons to say its not RNG when it truly is since you didn't get what you want so it has to be rigged. But again, if you got what you wanted, you aren't going to say its rigged either. You'll just say its good luck.

I need a Mutant AG. I've never gotten a mutant AG so far out of all the ones I've gotten from this game. Doesnt mean the game knows this either. There are other champs that I can use the others on if I get a different one.

Its completely random, so far I got 2 mutants, 1 skill, 1 science, 1 mutant, 1 mystic and 1 cosmic. You will hear more from people that havent had great luck so it may create a false illusion that the pulls are scripted.

Hey guys. No need to make a big fuzz about this. We are not Kabam's employees to answer this question correctly. It's RNG based or scripted with complicated algorithms, no one can give a scientific proof.
Just enjoy the game cuz we never know and interfere with how it actually works in the system.

I keep saying it.....it means you get what they give you.

You press a button something shows up in your inventory or wherever. Nobody knows how it actually works.

Contrary to what you're thinking that Kabam makes a separate piece of code for every account, there's a main code that overarches the entire game. All the programmers really need to do is put in a code saying something like, if (this person) has more than 1 of (this class of gem) repeat for (same class gem).
And yes it's easy to forgo the regular RNG. you just make a separate String of code for AG crystals. Which doesnt take that long as theres only 6 options, as opposed to 120 or however many champs there are now.

My awakening gem RNG is basically what you would expect to see. I've opened 9 AG crystals.

Cosmic - 1
Tech - 1
Mutant - 2
Skill - 2
Science - 1
Mystic - 2

Randomness sometimes means you get the same thing many times in a row. When you talk about statistics it all depends on the number of data points you're looking at. If you say "Statistically speaking the odds of one player pulling 6 of the same awakening gem in a row is very low," you are correct. If you say "Statistically speaking the odds of someone pulling 6 of the same awakening gem in a row is very low (out of say 100,000 players)," It's not really an accurate statement anymore. There's always going to be that one person who's pulls seem to defy all logic, but that doesn't mean it's not random. It's highly unlucky, but definitely still random.

I had mixed experiences...on my main account I pulled a Cosmic AG...which I was already sitting on one. My alt account has only 3 five star champs (Cap IW, Torch, and Drax), but I got lucky and pulled a Science AG.

I am too pissed today.... So much that i am surely quitting(Almost uncollected)
I thought that it would be a generic awakening gem at first...... Then i realised that it was class AG, which reduces our chance of awakening a good champ. I have voodoo which is the only best champ in my 5 star roster(only 7 champs)
So i thought that if i got mystic, i would r4 voodoo. But kabam is kabam & i think tech is the most less usable AG, only starlord and darkhawk are champs that arent amazing without awakening, all others like stark spidey,ghost etc are already amazing without awakening........... And i am so unlucky, that i got tech AG, not usable in my roster.......i am fed up now coz even being experienced at lvl 55, 5.2.5 progressed, 100% master every month, thought that time after time epic 100% is for sure, i cant even complete it in epic mode...... Tech support has stated that the outcome of awakening gem crystals is weighted on many variables. To my knowledge they have never stated it is pure RNG. Why would tech support say that its weighted if in fact it is purely random? You can say i am wearing a tinfoil hat but i still believe that the drop rate is weighted and not just random. Im sure some will say that tech support doesnt know what they r talking about, but that is who we r told to go to when we have problems with our accounts.

It's very simple. One code on the server, 6 outcomes. You open the Crystal, it accesses the pool, and generates an outcome instantaneously. It doesn't stop to analyze what you have in your Inventory, what Champs you have, what you pulled last, how much you spend, or what you had for dinner. It just generates one of six outcomes.

I'd like you to prove that's how the game is coded. I mean I'd really love to see that. While your getting that info, I'm gonna run to the store for more tinfoil, this calls for a full suit.

If you did play the game for 91 days straight then you would know everything is by chance, the entrire game revolves around chance it's just how it works. You will get a 5* Tech champ eventually from a 5 star crystal, but that fact is base on chance. Side note I really like how you worked in "loyal gamer" to this it made me laugh also, with the extreme use of vocabulary.
