Consistent combos node (AQ map 8 specifically)

How is it that one of the most iconic Marvel characters is famously the absolute worst character in the game? I'm generally not one to complain about the game we have because I play it and love it, but seriously, how has a fan favorite like this been so famously neglected?!!!
