Why not check rewards before going into quest? When selecting champions, go to the bottom where it says 'Quest Rewards'1 -

Its on the upcoming events. The one I saw was the Alliance Help event upcoming and it just had 1,000 GMC shards. Other events like SA and 3 day events will be shown when they start over.2
