You shouldn’t be receiving power for any of she hulk’s furies because they aren’t buffs they’re passives. The node clearly states only buffs grant power1 -

I’m pretty sure it’s the glancing. That one blocked hit glanced, rendering the power lock not active due to AAR, and then since cap has a small amount of power he’s no longer power locked5 -

Because the striker is granted by a node. Nodes are considered defender abilities. Even though it helps the attacker it’s still a defender ability and affected by AAR3 -

Peni shuts down any ability that would prevent her autoblock. So herc’s true sense will always fail to trigger against her. Not a bug.1
