Most roots are debuffs, so anyone that can shrug or cleanse can work, the passive ones, throwing a special usually breaks it4 -

Wiccan is actually pretty decent in this meta, neutralize for on attack and armor break immune for on defense. But it makes sense that he be blocked if he screws with iphone users5 -
