They are passive bleeds that deal no damage. He gains them by being hit and attacking. They are converted to fury’s when using special attacks. They are a good thing to put it short.4 -

I thought since thing is shock immune, Electro’s shock damage back affects him still. But he is immune to the shock debuff. This is prob how they’ve intended it to work.2
