Wong can handle Necro fights perfectly fine at r2, the extra rank is mostly overkill until Kabam decides to make the next step up from Necro.2 -

The regen rate reduction caps out at 5 schbleeds, so you do actually need high sig to fully shut out Nick’s second life.9
