I would venture to guess that "degen" immunity would make nodes like bane, brute force etc... basically pointless. They could simply change those nodes, but that's my best guess.1 -

I just fought an ascended r5, max sig Rintrah as AW boss. Used my r5 Masacre. Took 4 minutes and 24 seconds and I finished with 14% health.... What a long, boring fight. Haha2 -
