If you don't have willpower you should be fine. He will regen from your Salve, but thats tiny and only lasts for 60 sec anyway. You will vastly out damage it the first time you drop his armor.1 -

But to answer your original question, if you have the despair mastery, yes knull can do that fight as he will get enough debuffs to turn of healing.3
