If you are still in act 5 i would rank up corvus, if you are starting act 6 or you want to do variants i would go for ImAbom (villain and XL champ) ^_^1 -

i don't want to say anything about variants, but for your problem with mephisto you can use Red Hulk (duped), Vulture or Void, all three are incinerate immune and villains ^_^19 -

another thing to keep in mind is that not all Degens are considered DOT effects: G2099's degen doesn't count for the Cornered Node for example ^_^1 -
