New Calender is cruel trick, not treat

Trick or Treat?
If your conqueror or below, the new calender is a sick trick. I wasn't sure if I should laugh or scream at the headline of the announcement to get my "upgraded" calender. Bye bye 5* shards, was nice getting you while we had you. Once again Kabamed! I don't get why log in calender has been tied to progression, it doesn't take cavalier or uncollected players anymore skill or effort to log into the game, yet everyone below them just got their rewards reduced. Trick indeed.

I think having the calenders based off of progression isn't a bad idea. Even if it is just about logging in it should matter. Reward those that make moves and advance. Yeah it was awesome to get those 5 star shards as a newer player, but 5 star champs shouldn't be a newer players focus. I look at the updated calenders as another reason to progress and advance in the game

They should be based on progression, that way cavalier players can get a calendar more suited to them without unbalancing early game progression
