Spider Gwen not gaining extra charges when fighting Skill Class

As mentioned in Spider Gwen abilities, when fighting a champion of Superior class she gains extra 3 spider sense charges (which makes 3 + 1 = 4 in total).

And as she is of Science class it makes Skill as a superior class to her. But she doesnt gain any extra but starts fight with same 1 charge when fighting a Skill Champ.

    This is correct. Superior Class opponents are rare and powerful; Maestro, the Grandmaster, and the Collector are Superior Class, for example.
