New Champ missing major tag

How is Sam Wilson CA not #metal. He is not any different in general makeup to Archangel. Metal wings which should allow Magneto to do what Magneto does. I know there are "comic" oversights like the Ghost Rider/incinerate discussion, but this is simply poor tagging of a champ. Can someone from Kabam please explain why Sam Wilson doesn't have metal tag when the whole basis for what made him a new character is metal?

Knew the shield was, didn't realize the wings were. But VisionAoU is made out of Vibranium per same canon source (MCU) and is #metal, so still Kabam logic.

Look at any other champ that’s armor is vibranium, they are not #metal. Comics have both situations where magneto can or can’t control vibranium. As it stands now, vibranium is not a ferrous Metal so magneto is powerless unless it is an alloy with sometime like adamantium. Examples like killmonger, black panther, captain America.

Because they don't want him to be. There are plenty of arguments for plenty of champion tag situations, but this is how they thought he would fit best into the game.

You are making up things.

You don't know for sure he was meant to have a specific tag. You can't figure it out purely by just looking at the character, or by going with information from sources outside of the game.

Hey there, just wanted to confirm that it is intentional that this Cap doesn't have the #Metal tag because his upgraded gear is made out of his Vibranium, similar to both versions of Black Panther, Killmonger, and Cap (IW). This is also why his new sig is called "Vibranium Enhanced Exo-8 Falcon". Magneto is only able to manipulate the ferrous metals of the Battlerealm, which Vibranium isn't, so not giving these champs the #Metal tag is how we denote that they aren't affected by his powers.

Thank you for clearing this up, but what about this ^^ ?

Vision’s outer self is vibranium but I’m sure a large majority of his inner components are non-vibranium metal, hence magneto being able to manipulate him

in the movie, Vision's body was stated to be made of synthetic organic material (the same stuff used to patch up Hawkeye's injuries) laced with Vibranium. I don't recall it mentioned in the movie that there was any non-vibranium "machinery" in Vision. However, there are reasons to suspect there are: the fact that Ultron intended to "download" himself into it suggests there is some kind of familiar machinery for him to download into, combined with the notion that you can remove the mind stone from Vision and leave behind a functioning robot suggests there's more stuff in there besides synthetic tissue laced with vibranium.

Of course it is possible Vision's internal technology including the parts of his brain not including the mind stone could be made of vibranium, but I think that's unlikely simply because that seems beyond the technology of any government outside of Wakanda. Also the fact that Ultron's vibranium body didn't appear to contain indestructible vibranium parts when they defeated his prime body suggests not even Ultron knew how to construct such a thing. It would also seem likely be beyond the ability for SWORD to repair in WandaVision.

So again just pointing out that Kabam is literally making this up which is fine, just wish they would own up to the inconsistency they show from time to time. They didn't want Mags to counter Sam Wilson, thats really the answer.

Her arm is made using an alloy of Antarctic Vibranium.

Antarctic Vibranium is the opposite of Wakandan Vibranium. So if if Wakandan Vib isn't magnatized... Antarctic Vib would be.

Antarctic Vibranium is the opposite of Wakandan Vibranium. So if if Wakandan Vib isn't magnatized... Antarctic Vib would be.

Neither are magnetic at base as neither are ferrous. It’s considered an opposite as it’s an anti metal. However, her arm is actually an alloy of Antarctic Vibranium making it magnetic (unless this has changed from the comics)

Basically AOU bio says adamantium which seems inconsistent with this form and should be vibranium

This is the answer. In comics magneto has been able to pull out iron from blood - that'd be too OP in a game like this. It is what it is. Sometimes it makes sense, sometimes it doesn't but it's their universe, so yo have to go by their logic.

Just glad they finally made GR incinerate immune after so many years.

Once ago I made a similar observation with sentinel and kabam answered me this.

I guess it's a great answer so may be the clear your doubts
