This seems a little dramatic.. FTP players can get about 75% of the way there before today. You have to work a little more, what’s the big deal?

Which isn't true. I also don't agree on progression titles being locked behind spending. I don't mind champ rank progression, but this is a little silly. It is technically possible if you grinded for the unit offers on Cyber and from 7.4, but it isn't realistic in the slightest for f2p players.
Thats really too much 3 r4 champs. Was good times when complete story was enought to get title without spending money or waiting extra years to get title.

They are not just a random reward, but a differentiator for where Players are in-game, what content would be a challenge to them, and what rewards they need to move forward.

I've completed everything the game has to offer. Carina Challenge's included, as well as the Summer of Pain event. Adding that I also completed the Grandmaster's Gauntlet, and bought the unit offers there as well on cyber monday, and 4th of july (although I don't remember if those had rank 4 materials in them).
Having said that, it is not possible for me to have a 3rd rank 4 champion. Luckily I recently got the champion to use the gem I got on act 7, so that will sort my 2nd option.
So, how's that? Even with additional ways of getting these materials than the one's that were pointed out, it is still not possible for a player like me to get a 3rd rank 4 champion. So clearly something must be wrong there with your calculations.

Hmmm I’m f2p. Plat 3 alliance that runs map 8 top 100. 100% all content except carrina aol challenges. Was able to get 2 r4’s after getting. The 10k deal after 7.4. Not anywhere close to 3. Looks like this title is directly linked to how much people can spend during gifting event. Title might as well be “paragonnaspend”

The make it possible to have those rank up materials in story content/side quests/carina challenges. 3 r4s means you are either tier 1 wars or spent a ton at gifting. This is unacceptable imo.

Show me the odds of every possible pull from the new daily/4-hour crystals. If they are anything like the TB versions, they will be all front and no back.
As for 3 R4’s…hmmm. Going to have to think on that one. If it’s supposed to drive me to get stuff done, I need to know the real value of all the new stuff, not just promises of things like exclusive offers.

all of them except higher tier competitive wars. i mean i enjoy war but not at the cost it takes .. i've been there so i know what it takes. no worries though ... i don't agree or disagree really .. just pointing out that throwing in the competitive tier thing makes it more of a slap to "other" players than normal.
i'm ok with the rank up requirement because eventually most will get it especially as resources become more available ... i'm just not a fan of edging things towards the spenders and "competitive" players. there's room for more inclusion rather than more exclusion and everyone can be happy.

I’ve done all but Carina 1, and the high tier war. I’ve got 2 R4s and I’ve only bought about 30k T3A (22k was with units anyway, so accessible for F2P). Adding on the carina 1 means I got 2 rank 4s, and then only need 2 more T3A in order to get the title.
I’d say getting 75% (7 out of 9 T3As) of the way without having to spend money, and without having to be in a top alliance is pretty good wouldn’t you? Don’t you think top alliances and spenders should get benefits, and in this case only 25% extra isn’t that much?
It's meant to be a challenge so you shouldn't feel upset knowing you don't meet the requirements on day 1. Titles have and always will follow this suite. The FTP players also have an opinion and it's fair to voice. Nobody is "allergic to hard work" because to meet those milestones the FTP community has to work the hardest. Fingers crossed with the new title being introduced that the r4 materials have a serious increase in availability to make the title more achievable for highly skilled and committed players. Far out though I'll get dislikes for saying this but some people need to grow up and be less fragile about it. You'll get the title eventually.

Agreed. With champ acquisition being tied to RNG, I don't want to r4 champs that I don't want to just to achieve this status. Why can't it be be tied to amount of 6* champs, or just explore act 7?
Just for me personally, I have 111 6* champs, but none of the "best" in the game. No Doom, Warlock, Apoc, Ghost, AA, Torch, Void, Herc, CGR etc... for me. The only 2 champs I have as a 6* that I would consider r4ing is Kingpin and Sigil Witch.

It’s a pay-title. It’s nearly impossible that f2p players have 3 r4s. I always had the newest progression title but that is simply too much. For TB I did back then my first abyss completion. What can I do now to obtain 3 r4s? It’s huge man. It’s not a good feeling right now.
For context: I have 1 r4 and have everything in game on 100% except some carina challenges. It shifts more in p2w direction

instead of brining this nonsense requirements (I have done all content, with only 2 r4 6*, at 1 catalyst for both) you should update the Thronbreaker title, we still only gets grandmaster crystals, calendar is outdated AF day 1, all deals and offers are combined with Cav title rather than standalone, no Thronbreaker difficulty in SQ. nothing special besides the daily crystal, everything else is meh.
make it 2 r4, if not, increase t4cc accusation (get rid of the stupid catalyst clash arena) increase t6cc t3a inventory cap, alone with t4cc cap.
Congratulations. As soon as my black Iso subscription ends I'll be done spending money on this game. We went from Progression Titles being locked behind doing the most difficult and recent content to having spent thousands on unit and cash offers and playing the highest tiers of AW. This isn't tied behind completing Abyss or fully exploring Act 7. It's doing something that is impossible for either casual or FTP players. This game is going down hill fast and you are trying to milk every last drop out of your player base possible.

There are plenty of non-spenders in high tier AQ and AW.

You have to admit currently the title will only be available to the small minority of FTP players at the top. It'll become more FTP as time passes but for now it is a very pay to earn title. No point denying it.
I love the direction y'all are going with this, and I totally support the idea that rank up should be an influence on your profile progression. That said, three is too many. Especially considering that those who missed a piece of content with the appropriate materials can't go back and get them now. I think two r4s makes a lot more sense - that means you would have earned one and gotten one from 7.4 100%, or you have earned two, or you would've bought two. It's a great idea, I think it needs to be a little bit more accessible but more difficult to attain than thronebreaker was
