Cheaters in Battlegrounds make the game borderline unplayable

Literally ever 3/4d match I encounter is a blatant cheater / modder. This seems to occur at 1700+ rating for me mostly.
There needs to be a system in place that enables us to block these people since Kabam doesn’t ban quick enough.
As long as this continues, I don’t see how Battlegrounds can be a fair, fun and competitive game mode.

Honestly it is really funny to watch them. When the game mode gets rewards and when there is actually sonething to play for then it becomes the problem.

But now it is just fun to watch how pathetic and dumb can somebody be to cheat in beta with no rewards and risk your account for nothing.

Agreed. I’ve seen it all levels as well, it’s just the pool of possible matchups diminishes the higher you go so sometimes you get multiple fights against the same modders. This makes the beta much less enjoyable. I’ve reported a couple of these players but they are still sitting at the top of the leaderboard with their rating still going up.

I can’t even laugh it off saying that it isn’t worth cracking down on now because “it’s just a beta.” These players are clearly definitely testing multiple ways of modding to see what is the least detectable for the when the actual mode goes live. Some are easy to spot like 6 second fights, but others are getting more clever by adding fight time to seem borderline realistic, but then their total combo is less than 10 hits on champs that have no business winning fights with that combo count. I’m hoping Kabam has some plan in place to detect these methods when the actual mode goes live outside of individual reports or there is going to be a lot of player frustration.

Ik it’s just beta but the fact it’s gotten substantially worse with no update from the last beta on this issue is making me worried when it’s fully released.

Its hard to think why they would start showing their hand with the cheating mods/hacks this early with no rewards but I guess it's so people will be promoting them for free on the forums (wouldn't be suprised if they are linking to these forums to show how 'effective' their mods are).

I think there needs to be a report button in game for it - having to go through tickets and take screenshots, fill the form in etc will be too monotonous for some users

The modders are probably tweaking their mods themselves. Had an alliance Nate last night first fight 5 star og guilly beat duped 6 star KM in 43 seconds lost 21% health. Next fight 4 star doom best 6 star rank 3 PENI duped in 23 seconds the 4 star lost 0.4 health Last fight 5 star bwcv beat 6 star rank 3 moleman in 17 seconds lost 3.7% health. All with safeguard while all hte fights while his fights with all high rank 6 stars vs 2 unduped 6 stars and a 4 star defender too 37-53 seconds and the 53 second fight was vs a 4 star duped warlock.

Not disagreeing bc I have seen the posts of impossibly fast KOs, but in 130-plus matches I have not seen one.

I’ll wait to see what Kabam does before complaining.
