@Kabam Miike I was trying ultron in AQ to work on this and it was fun.

With that said, super cool to see this level of responsiveness.

    Rare kabam W
Rarer kabam W actually done pretty fastly

Seriously. That was quick work for a change. They obviously saw this objective was so poorly setup as it was. Good work @Kabam Miike

Thanks kabaam. Not very often I praise you guys. As it was originally that was one set up objectives that was not going to get done for the first time in years.

For real. I have relayed your feedback to the team. I don't know the particulars or the intent here, and I can't promise any changes to this in particular, but your feedback has been passed on.

New Solo Event is incoming. It might disappear for a moment but will be back soon.

You'll now get points for doing fights in AW/AQ, and bonus points for using the stated Champions.

Kudos. A good decision for once coming down from the game team.

Oh i see, i was about to ask why i m getting 2 points today instead of 1 as it was yesterday. That explains it. Now i can finish all of the milestones in couple of days. Thanks.

One would argue the rewards are hardly aimed at people who play map 8 and t1 AW.

I disagree. 5000 6s shards, 5000 t3a, 7000 t6b. Those are resources everybody needs. With that mindset, shouldn't I always just skip monthly eq and sidequest? I think that is the wrong approach for the matter. I think sidequests as well as eq should be accessible for all the players, except for the requirements of the title tied to the progression level, which is also linked to the difficulty of said quests. I just wanted to point out how it doesn't make any sense to have side quest objectives tied in to aw and aq, but it seems on this forum there must always be somebody criticizing everything that is said, regardless.
I personally find that particular objective a bit questionable myself, but if you're going to complain about people disagreeing with your posts, then this forum is not for you. The forum is not a suggestion box nor is it a support group. The forum's explicitly stated purpose is to facilitate player discussion. Discussion goes both ways.
I accept different opinions, but I can hardly accept replies that don't make sense. That was the point... saying since I do map 8 then I don't need to do the side event doesn't make sense to be honest

Thank you for communicating this issue to the game team and for communicating that and the response to us.

I really appreciate the response Miike, and the updated event is certainly better than it was previously.

Let me add a perspective that I don't see often here on forums though:
I am an endgame Paragon player that plays in an alliance with maybe 6-10 Paragon and TB summoners, and like 20 Cav and below summoners because I value the connections I have made throughout the game and mentoring new summoners. I consistantly get less (and often far less) rewards in almost every alliance event because almost all players at my level are in an alliace that has a very small account size/progression deviation.

I saw this event and got excited because we don't have enough players to play high level AQ, and thus I haven't had an engaging AQ fight in like 5 years. It was much more fun to go through with specific lower level champs because I was finally getting decent rewards for my time, and having slightly more difficult fights. Maybe this makes it more difficult for players in alliances where champion choice matters greatly, but the pool of champions wasnt drastically restrictive, and the milestones for rewards weren't that hard to achieve. Every part of this game is about a tradeoff of effort for rewards. If you want to play more arena, then you probably have to miss out on some EQ/SQ/other rewards. Maybe, in this one instance, it isn't the worst thing that playing in a less competitive alliance allows for more flexibility in pursuing certain rewards (while those in extremely competitive alliances will get better rewards from those wars/quests anyways). If you think of it as a boost in rewards for those that have the freedom to pursue it, instead of a loss in rewards for those who are focused on better events/competition, then maybe that would help.

That being said, the move to prioritizing using said champions while still rewarding other play was definitely the way to go.

So, like, did anyone at kabam consider the absolute stupidity of putting an event in the solo section that requires being in an alliance? Isn't that what the alliance events are for?

Before anyone says "it's so your alliance members don't carry you in the event and to prevent leeching off of their scores for rewards" let me remind you they already have the ability to put points minimums for different milestones like the gifting / banquet event has had for years.

The benefit of making an Alliance related Solo Event is that it's visible to players who aren't already in an Alliance and can incentivize them to seek out an Alliance. If it was an Alliance Event, then players who aren't already in an Alliance wouldn't know it was there.
Makes sense knowing an aliance event is coming like september

How many people you think are going to find an alliance because of this one event? There are hundreds of reasons people don't join alliances. This event will not incentivize them.

Some alliance based events are coming up so that's what they are trying to prep the community for I believe

I think using AQ related rewards in this way won’t really incentivise people to join an Alliance. These rewards aren’t really Alliance dependant in the same way Battle Grounds alliance rewards are, where you benefit from the whole Alliance taking part.

These rewards are gained from the individuals input into AQ. I took 3 months off from the game, came back and created a solo Alliance. I earned 2,600 loyalty on my own. I’ve since joined an Alliance that’s been top 300 last 2 AQs and we get 5,000 loyalty. Less than double the loyalty but 30 peoples combined effort. I get there are rewards in AQ, but I guess my point is, if you’re not already in Alliance I don’t think these specific rewards will incentivise anyone to seek one out, they already know there missing out on rewards from AQ, AW, BG, Summoner Advancement etc. I could be wrong, you could have analytics that show bump in Alliance membership after this event. Now the whole 7* event that incentivises being in an Alliance. Sadly I was still in my solo bubble at the time so missed out.

I also VERY MUCH appreciate how there's no time-locked rewards at all.

They have a lot more data on that subject than we do. If it doesn't incentivize, they know.

You're saying there are hundreds of reasons why people don't join alliances, and incentives like this do not address *any* of them? That seems unlikely. You'd think random chance alone would cause this incentive to land on at least a couple of them.

What if we have already completed the solo event?
