Account “Gifting”

If my friend who quit playing MCOC gives me his account, is it considered piloting, or is it allowed because the account would be mine for free as a gift?

    Accounts are not transferable. It's a violation of TOS.

    Hey curiousgeorge, I'll be more than happy to provide you with some clarification on this!

    As GroundedWisdom was kind enough to mention above, accounts are not transferrable. Section 6 of our Terms of Service states that "You agree not to transfer or resell or otherwise convey your Account or the right to use your Account or rights therein to anyone". It also states that "You may not use anyone else’s Account at any time and you may not allow anyone else to use your Account at any time".

    Selling or transferring an account as a "gift" is not permitted under any circumstances, it is a direct violation of our Terms of Service and if we discover that someone has done this, we will take all necessary actions to punish them accordingly.
