Variant is a money grab

Variant is the biggest money grab since LoL. I’m on boss 2.3 in variant and you die in 4-5 hits because of the fatigue debuff you get. Sick of the fact you can’t beat anything with skill only by spending money on units. Save us the trouble kabam and sell the rewards because it’s not even fun st all when you die because of the stupid nodes @Kabam Miike

Or you can learn how to fight him or wait until you have a good counter since it's permanent content and spend zero units or dollars. The basic strategy is to heavy counter with champions that have only one or two hits on their heavy. Starlord, ghost, stark spidey, Dr,voodoo on the odd combo among others are really good for that fight and if you don't have them there is nothing wrong with waiting till they are in arena. Variant is meant for high tier players with very expansive rosters, just because you can't complete it right now doesn't make it a money grab. The only real BS in there are the few degeneration nodes in the third chapter I believe and yeah that's bad game design but the rest is very skill and roster based.

The biggest money grab since LOL? Would you prefer that LOL didn't exist? I have two paths left and have spent $0 on it. I will eventually 100% Variant for $0. Keep the money grab content that doesn't grab any money coming. People will spend on these quests to finish them faster, and that's good for the game. Good luck playing a game that doesn't make any money. But the whole "money grab" thing is out of control.

I haven't even entered Variant yet. I've seen enough videos to know i'm not ready. However, I love having content to build toward.

just because something is hard does not mean it is a money grab.

this is hard permanent content.
permanent content like this cannot be a money grab.
eventually you will have the skills and roster to do it.
you just have to be patient and wait until then.

it is peoples lack of patience and desire to be the best that causes them to spend spend spend.
not a games design.

something cannot be a money grab if you chose not to use money.

also there is not a single piece of content that requires you to spend money.
spend unit maybe.
but units are not money. units can be earnt for free by playing.
so even if you need to spend units to complete something that is not money.

money is only a shortcut for impatient people in a game like this.
