it is not just ai reaction times that are quicker.

although hard to do it is possibel for us to do a mid parry combo. block hit one, drop and re-engage block and parry on hit 2.

it seems that everything is just running quicker in thaat regard

Since release this game progressively moved away from "mindlessly tapping the screen".
Frameperfect inputs aren't impossible for human players. And the ai being able to use that occasionally is far from implausible.
Now, what you as a player can do is to be aware of those time windows. Just try to focus a little bit.
From my own experience, everytime I get parried mid combo or my special gets blocked, I know and feel that my inputs simply weren't on point. I allowed that time window to be there or at the very least bigger than it's supposed to for me to be safe.

The ai getting progressively more adaptive is a good thing in my opinion. It forces you to actually improve your skills and keeps you on your toes.

And upgrade your device frequently.

They kinda will be excluding some user's from playing on the next update, since the minimum requirements will increase. It's safer to buy a phone that's up to date and keep playing for the next years, than buying a slightly older phone and get blocked from playing a month later, when the requirements go up again

I dont mind smarter AIs but having reaction times faster than used to be possible and being able to attack you, parry or launch a special mid combo shouldnt happen. Weirdly, even some of my champs (when hit by a multiple hit special) have been hit for the first part, but blocked the second part. That makes a mockery of using a special. Still sometimes also get this issue with chaining specials onto combos. The ai reacts too fast and blocks them.
