Avoid getting destroyed in arena matchups

Is there any way to avoid matchups like this? I'm currently at a 16 win streak and try to alternate between my weakest champs and stronger champs. Or is this just a part of the RNG?

As has pointed out, if youa re going for a streak you need to read up on it. after level 16 you need to maintain about 12k pi in order to maintain about 12k pi teams to keep from getting trounced, it is trying to force you to start over. Once you can get over 20 and can maintain 12k pi it stays easy.
