How good is Aegon unawakened?

Is he still a viable questing option? Any tips and techniques appreciated.

    I have him as a rank 3 5* unawakened. He's not really THAT great unawakened, but he can still be useful, especially since he gains his 40% Tenacity (debuff removal) at 5 hits I believe. Just don't expect anything super crazy.

    Not really. He is basically Star Lord with a little less damage (pretty sure)

    He is good for long quests like if you have a 4* r5 or similar and need to take on 5.3/5.4, but not good for EQs except maybe uncollected bosses (because most don’t take that many hits to get down)

    Duped he is good anywhere except short quests

    He's really not useful as unawakened. Ramp up is painfully slow which you will have to do in each fight. He really shines when awakened at high Sig. For a 5 star max Sig gives him ability to carry 75% of combo to next fight. When you add it up over few fights, by the time you reach boss he becomes a monster.

    Does his different Ability based on current Combo Meter REPLACE the previous Combo meter ability each time (I assume) ?? Or does he cumulatively keep all lower Combo Meter Abilities as he builds his combo higher and higher ?

    Just got him, and sort of difficult to try and remember which state he is in during the fight.

    I am going to go a bit against the grain here. Yes, awakened he is a god, but unawakened he is still a solid champ. He has one of the higher base attack ratings, he has some good synergy options, and you do still gain some benefits pretty early in ramping up his combo meter each fight. He is far from "pretty terrible."

    I have an unawakened 5* at R3 and just pulled an unawakened 6*.
