My champs r getting green coloured without using items!

Just checked my war defenders and they were shining tho i didn't use any items! My ally mates have the same issue, is it cuz the pi bug? It only shines on war defense though..

My avatar keeps flipping back and forth between Rulk and Widow. Widow's PI gets boosted (not by me) and then she drops down. Very confused...
