Time to Take a Little Class Trip!

Summoners!

It’s time to take a little trip with your friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man! He’s heading away with some of his classmates on a well deserved vacation. Unfortunately for Spider-Man, his chaperone has other things planned for him…

Nick Fury has requested that our Summoners join in on the new Event, Spider-Man: Class Trip!

This limited-time Quest will have four Chapters, with a new Chapter opening every Wednesday. To choose your difficulty you’ll need to gather S.H.I.E.L.D. Markers throughout The Battlerealm and trade them in for Tiered Permission Slips.

The Quests!

Starting July 3, 10:00 AM PDT, SPIDER-MAN: CLASS TRIP will become available. This Quest has 4 Chapters, and will begin with the first Chapter unlocked. The next Chapter will be unlocked every Wednesday until the event ends on August 7 10:00 AM PDT. To enter each chapter, you’ll need to spend a Permission Slip! These can be purchased in the Souvenir Store. Each Difficulty requires a different tier of Permission Slip.

Here’s a breakdown of their costs:

Level 1 Permission Slip (Beginner Difficulty) - 150 S.H.I.E.L.D. Markers
Level 2 Permission Slip (Normal Difficulty) - 250 S.H.I.E.L.D. Markers (Available for Contenders and beyond)
Level 3 Permission Slip (Heroic Difficulty) - 500 S.H.I.E.L.D. Markers (Available for Proven and beyond)
Level 4 Permission Slip (Master Difficulty) - 750 S.H.I.E.L.D. Markers (Available for Conqueror and beyond)
Level 5 Permission Slip (Epic Difficulty) - 1000 S.H.I.E.L.D. Markers (Available for Uncollected and beyond)

Each Quest has 3 paths. On some Difficulties there will be Paths with a Champion Gate, These Gates can only be unlocked if you have that specific Champions on your team. That Champion can be of any Rarity and must be on your team in the Quest in order to unlock the Gate. You'll need a variety of Champions from the Spider-Verse to explore the entirety of these Quests.

Don’t have one of these Champions? Don’t worry! On the Final week of the Event, we’ll be launching new Special Objectives that reward you with a 2-Star Version of the Champion for defeating them 50 times in Arenas, Quests, or Duels!

You’ll also earn Homesick Crystal Shards in Special Objectives that start on July 3rd. These Crystals guarantee at least a 2-Star with a rare chance at a 3 or 4-Star Agent Venom, Carnage, Doctor Octopus, Electro, Green Goblin, Iron Patriot, Rhino, Spider-Gwen, Spider-Man (Classic), Spider-Man (Miles Morales), Spider-Man (Stark Enhanced), Spider-Man (Symbiote), Symbiote Supreme, Venom, Venom the Duck, Venompool or Vulture. (4-Star Rhino not included).

Where do I get those S.H.I.E.L.D. Markers?

There are 3 places to collect S.H.I.E.L.D. Markers:

- You can find them by completing Special Objectives with Spider-Verse Heroes, Sinister Six, or Symbiote Champions.
- You can collect them from a special Login Calendar
- Completing Class Trip Quests.

Then you take those markers, and head over to the Souvenir Store to trade them in for Permission Slips, special Profile Pics (for 1000 Markers each), and more as the month goes on!

Have spare S.H.I.E.L.D. Markers? In the last week of the event, we’ll be adding a selection of items for you to spend your spare Markers on! These items are not as good as the rewards that you can earn in the Class Trip quests, so if you can do the Quests, we suggest doing those first!

I am praying it's a guaranteed 5*, but I doubt it will be

Epic has 6-Star Shards, and a whole lot of rank up resources!

Rewards aren't great, but what about the energy consumption per tile is it going to be 4 like the current event, which forces members to use energy refills or is it going to be 2-3 per tile.

@Kabam Miike how many slips / markers will be available? Is there a way to do more than just epic difficulty?

This would be good to know beforehand in order to not spend the markers&slips on other difficulties before the entire quest is available

I said we do in fact get a fully formed 5* crystal by completing Master and Uncollected difficulty of this event. You then replied about the content of Legendary crystal. Im sorry, but i disagree. That isnt a "whole lot" of rank up materials. Its a minuscule amount compared to whats needed.

It sounds like the uncollected portion of this quest will be harder than uncollected GGttM event but I doubt it will be as difficult as the Uncollected EQ.

Maybe you should go back and look at your own text as you also answered someone who asked for the content and drop rates of the Legendary and Ultimate Crystal, which (again) you answered incorrectly thus (again) I corrected you. Everyone can make mistakes mate, you don´t need to deny your mistake here.

Gotcha I see what you're talking about, I think an old draft got autosaved because I know I deleted that after I checked to see what was in a legendary crystal. When I came back to this thread and quoted RiderofHell I didn't notice it recovered the autosave. Still no reason to get so worked up about something so trivial.

Think its missing a Cavalier difficulty and better rewards directed at end game players, cant do much with a Legendary crystal with 80% chance at a 4* that is pretty much a guaranteed 4*. And lots of rank up materials? I disagree, where is the gold, t1as, etc in epic. That majority need to even rank up a 5* to 5/65? Why not just put rank up gems as prizes? Can even do your favorite rng 5* 3-4 gem. In an ever diluting 5* pool and 6*s setting the stage this is beyond poor. Gwenpool goes to the movies was a better event already and that was OVER a year ago which guaranteed a 5* champ crystal. Feel like the rewards are moving backwards not forwards.

My main concern really is about energy costs for this. It seems each month that to complete every Special Quest alongside just 100% exploration of Heroic, Master, and UC Event Quest, that energy costs are extremely high, to the point where you almost have to purchase at least SOME energy refills to complete all the aforementioned quests.

So my question is, what are the energy costs for the Field Trips going to be? Ideally it would be nice to go back to having these quests capped at a max of 3 energy per tile at most for Epic and Master difficulties.

Man some people are never pleased. What did you guys expect? 10k 6* shards for a side quest? I'm happy with any additional way to get t5b, t2a, and shards

I hate to agree, but especially considering that the Epic difficulty is only available to people Uncollected and Cavalier I do feel like it should be a fully formed 5* crystal as well.

Monthly EQ provides 20% of a t5b and less than half a t2a. This event provides 15% of a t5b and a full t2a.

Gwenpool Goes to the Movies was exclusively crystal rewards, IIRC, and I got screwed on EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. Every 80/20 came out 80. The featured 5-star had a ton of champs that would've changed the trajectory of my roster (I probably had 20ish 5-stars). I duped a ****ing Groot. I'm posting that little rant to say that I appreciate having blended rewards that can guarantee advancement in my roster, even with bad pulls.
