Nick fury synergy with himself doesn’t work on heroes?

It just doesn't increase the numbers on the pre-fight screen ... try it on the battle itself

why does the nick fury hero boost, not apply on the attack similar to a boost? Most aspects of the game don't matter, but LOL does.
