Unpopular mcoc opinions

Many of us have been playing the game for several years. I’d say the community generally agrees to most things about the game and champions.

What are some of your opinions that are not main stream mcoc? I’ll start with these:

She hulk is a top 4 science champ. Maybe even top 3 of you are terrible at playing quake like myself

Hyperion benefits more from rank 5 than any other 5 star. This is 100% my experience - dat boi can destroy

Ghost rider is far from the wet noodle he is made out to be. Sure, he doesn’t hit like some of the god tiers, but he is also no Groot, mordo, Loki, etc.

Duped Jane foster isn’t the worst champ in the game. Far from the best, but def not the worst. I almost quit after duping my 6 star JF but she is actually alright

Red skull isn’t terrible. Far from great but that blocking power drain is a nice mechanic

Groot is not the worst champ in game... PSYCH!!! He is definitely the worst champ in mcoc

I disagree with Hyperion, cap marvel Corvus and other champs who are amazing if the fight is shorter are better, but the others I agree with

Each Fight certainly dictates which champ is better for said fight. I was just stating that Hyperion benefits from a rank 5 more than any other champ I have, including Corvus. I love Corvus too- I just saw a huuuuge difference in hyperions overall abilities at rank 5 - much bigger than the difference I saw in my 6 star rank 2 Corvus

Good point! Doc oc May be most underrated champ IN mcoc - that perma power control is insane

That Diablo is underrated

Magik is more difficult to use than Psylocke
Loki has enough utility to make himself useful, especially when awakened
Sabertooth relies too heavily on RNG
Yondu has great offensive capabilities, especially when the AI gets stupidly passive

Duped Kingpin is actually a fantastic attacker. Starts with two rages to give him a +50% attack boost and his special 1 is great for shutting down annoying abilities.

Well for starters he takes 35% less damage from all poison soources, has a good Regen on sp1, sp2 is his damage dealer though. He can become unstunnable with one of his potions, a other option of his makes all his attacks energy damage, and another of em makes all Regen effects more effective by a large margin. He is somewhat capable of buff nullification and has his own powergain which is weak but if timed right can get him to a sp3. When he runs out of potions though he's kinda meh however. Wish Kabam buffed him from the current to 30 of em so hed be more viable. He also gains a damage boost if you apply a sp3 with more than 1 potion active, getting a hidden fury I think. Most people dislike Diablo (as seen in my first comment, 2 dislikes) due to his complexity but he's better than people give him credit for.

Taskmaster is a heavily underrated champ. Awakened and used correctly, he wins most fights.

While the model doesn’t look great- that killmonger synergy make WS a beast. Unpopular opinion: I prefer WS over Killmonger

I get more use from Hyperion than any other- great for both variants, AQ, monthly events , and act 6- I would not argue against him being the best overall champ - after a few fury buffs he can nail down 40k combos, 80k special 2, and he is just crazy good at special attack intercepting. Lots of great ways to use Hyperion plus, he is amazing by himself. Doesn’t need synergies

I've been saying this for two years now, no matter, people won't believe you until they do, which is fine by me. The less spotlight put on how insane he is at that level the better.

It’s sad to see how many disagrees you’ve gotten on this comment but I guarantee you they’re all Magik fanboys that don’t like you talking badly about her. Doc Oc in truth is the best power controller. Magik requires an L2, whereas Doc Oc can power lock before he even gets an L1. In addition he can keep using his heavy to “detonate” his breakthrough for some nice damage and reapply the power lock until he gets to L3. If they last that long.

Nebula is rather underrated. While she doesn't hit very hard, she makes up for it in having dual immunity. Her shock charges can shutdown other bots. Load up 20, parry, S2 and watch the life melt on any champ that isn't Shock Immune. Her Regen is only as good as the hit she takes though, lol.

I think OG vision is a better power controller than magik. She needs an sp2 to get her rotation of power lock and if they can shrug it she’s toast. Vision, with good sig levels, can keep champs power drained all fight without generating any power from hits. Can evade all fight and just power drain from synthesis. I’ve taken down high level magiks without her getting limbo once using sp1 on vision to keep her power drained all fight, never even getting one bar of power.
