Sym. Supreme or Thing?

Pulled 5* Thing and Sym. Supreme from the 2 crystals after exploring 5.4. Which one of them is worth taking up to r3? (I have the Champion as a 5* for Thing's synergy, if that makes a difference)

I love SS but Thing is more versatile in my opinion

Eventually all 5*s should be at r3 but I'd say take em both up to r2, play around with them and then rank up the one you enjoy the most. Personally I'd do Thing since hes less complex than SS
