Magik Chaining Heavies after her Sp2.. Power lock

@Kabam Vydious and @Kabam Miike and @Kabam Lyra... Please have a look at the attached YouTube Video showcased by KT1.. The Kiryu where Magik is able to completely lock down the opponent against the wall and chaining heavies after heavies into Special 2 attack... Rinse and Repeat.. Please confirm whether this is intentional or working as Intended or not... Because this is another video where a champ is able to chain heavies continuously... Please we deserve a response to this!!!! 😎

Yeah this nothing New or Nerf Worthy, this isn't a Heavy Combo like She-Hulk's where you're tricking the AI and such but simply a Heavy Spam, Nearly every Champion can Heavy Spam.
The only thing stopping you from doing so is when the Enemy gains a Bar of Power, which usually happens after one or two Heavies because they reward extra Power, at which point they'll counter you with a Special to the Face. But since Magik, and by proxy Any Other Power Control Champion, can Power Lock or Power Drain them you can Temporarily allow your self to Heavy Spam with no worry of being Punished by a Special to the Face.
Keep in mind it's Temporary and it relies on things like the Enemy not being Debuff Immune or Resistant to Power Control and such, there for not Nearly as Exploitive as the Heavy Combo Strat from She-Hulk and a few others where it allows you to Trick the AI into wasting Specials as well.

This is the same concept it seems of how gwenpool was able to keep the opponent enevated and kept heavy spamming and that got fixed so this will obvs be fixed

Also this is kind of the whole point of Power Lock, the Heavy Spam here would be the same thing as using a Regular Combo or MM Spam while it's active... Your Temporarily removing their Power Gain so you can Attack without worry of giving them Power.

This is absolutely normal, she doesn't chain heavy into combo, she chain heavy after heavy, most of champs with same size as magik can chain heavy after heavy. She can do it again after again because she has L2 power lock.

If Magic has always been able to do this (or at least for a long time now), perhaps the problem is with KT1 “Click-Baiting” the video by saying “MAGIC HAS NEW TRICKS.”.

Ppl need to stop clicking on every video on YouTube just because someone posted a new trick. They do this for a reason, to get ppl to watch their videos. In some cases, they make money off ur gullibility.

Seriously this isn't anything new, every champ with that heavy animation, which there's quite a few, can break the animation into a special attack. Are we seriously going to do this with every champ and come where with a video of everything **** and whining? Nobody does this anyway, you don't need to with Magik.

I think it's just people being bitter or petty about the whole Heavy Combo Nerfing thing, not here to comment on it, just saying some people need to Let That Go...

No less skill needed than Ghost... probably need more with Magik to pull this off, fights will be longer than with Ghost, requires the opponent not be debuff immune, not power drain/lock immune, have no passive debuffs, no passive damage effects, no AAR, etc... so... this is not as broken as Ghost by any means.

I am totally fine and excited to see and try if magik is able to pull out this kind of gameplay and she would clear all my EQ content very easily... However like recently how Kabam is doing with their Champions, nerfing / balancing whatever, it's always safe to ask before you invest your hard earned resources on Her... Bcoz with this magik playstyle... You can keep the opponent cornered for the entire fight.. Hence as I said in my post earlier, we need and atleast deserve a response from the moderator's here.. Please @Kabam Miike and @Kabam Zibiit and @Kabam Vydious.. Please respond to this thread..!! 😎

Also if this "New Playstyle" was only found out recently, not many people would've ranked her up for that specific reason. Not to mention she's still The Queen Of Power Control and no Heavy Spam "Nerf" or addition gonna change that.

Mainly it’s just that one person— let’s call him Nerfman— most responsible for getting she-hulk nerfed is so bitter about it that he keeps posting random videos trying to bait kabam into nerfing others, or else they’ll appear inconsistent and he can expose their “real” reason for the nerf.

He thinks they actually care about being exposed. I feel sorry for the noobs that worship him and actually need his cheese tips to clear content.

Even though this particular strategy is no different than power locking with sp2 and pinning them in the corner with her medium and light attacks, he’s doing it with heavy attacks to try to prove a bitter she-hulk point. He did something similar with civil warrior then said “who cares it’s just civil warrior.” Well this ain’t civil warrior. Hug your Magiks while you still can cause Nerfman is on the prowl.

This playstyle is so boring without any flow to it. Heavy heavy heavy, sp2, snapback/intercept, find a chance to heavy heavy heavy. The main reason why snapback or backdraft intercept was popular was because it flowed soooo well to the rhythm of the fight.
