You can use any champion on Hyperion. Just learn to parry.

But if you want to have fun with the Superman of Marvel; use Loki and spam his SP1. Buff stealing power gain is always a hoot.

For the veterans it is probably the case that players have both the tactics and the deep rosters that contain a lot of different options to deal with him. But there's new players joining all the time who might not have either the knowledge or skill, or have shallow rosters that would limit their options.

Be sure to hit hype when blocking too. Seems to throw more specials that way. Less chance at sp3

Another great counter is dormamu. Use as many mediums in combo then sp2. Lucky if hype ever gets a full bar of power. Medium power drains. Sp2 will power lock. Easy to beat.
