Wasp update

I can’t believe more people aren’t talking about the change coming to Wasp. She will no longer be able to chain her heavy against stun immune champs which takes away the main thing she had going for her and makes her almost useless against AW mini bosses and bosses.

If the miniboss is debuff immune rather than stun immune wasp's passive stun will work just fine.

There is nothing to talk about. If she is stunning stun immune then it’s a bug fix despite what anyone says.

Hey there, so the passive Stun from her heavy would not be shortened by the Limber node or mastery, since these are only designed to interact with Stun debuffs. We're updating the descriptions of the node and mastery to reflect that, since Wasp has our first passive Stun effect. The passive Stun also means that she can Stun a champion who is debuff immune, but not a champ who is Stun immune.

I agree. I made a post about this earlier as well. In my opinion, this is a big change to Wasp. I would have wanted this to be announced more clearly (similar to the She Hulk issue) rather than being snuck into a long list of 'known issues'...

Doesn't matter though. There's a lot of stuff that doesn't really make sense, like iceman taking cold damage, ghost rider taking incinerate damage...etc. The point is that this always worked as part of her kit and now it's being changed, and the change is just snuck into a laundry list of stuff. Ppl who don't read it in more detail won't even know and they'll just get wrecked next time they come up against a stun immune champ.

Are they stating that a stun isn’t a debuff? This doesn’t make much since as it is a PASSIVE stun.

Glad to see this is getting finally fixed. As others mentioned, it was a bug, and just by reading and understanding abilities you would know it.

Only problem left, is that the patch notes specifically state that this was a bug with Wasp, where it isn't. It's a bug with the passive stun itself being able to bypass stun immunity scenarios, or abilities that punish you for applying a stun.
Loki, Phoenix and Doctor Doom should get this fixed too, as well as all of their interactions against Mordo (they are currently bypassing astral evade, when they shouldn't be able to do so).

That is just wrong, really. Just read their abilities, and you will not find any mention of an immunity to those effects

OMG this sucks man. Why are they fiddling with champs man. I took her to R5 because of her ability to passively stun the stun and debuff immune champs. WTF is this. otherwise she is useless to me.

KABAM : Make sure to send RDT tickets for this one. This is shameful. I want my resources back.

She can stun debuff immune champs just fine. Debuff immunity is not gonna stop wasp's passive stun.

This bug was announced since her release, and re-posted dozens of times every once in a while. Nothing in her abilities states that she is able to stun opponents who are stun immune, or similar. If you got that info from outside sources, then they were wrong, or misleading.

If you invested resources on her due to a broken and knowledged ability, then that's up to you. She will still work on debuff immunity scenarios, just not stun immunity scenarios.

So are they saying PASSIVE no longer matters and does this wording now effect all champs that have a "PASSIVE" ability. Why just WASP smh, I just pulled her as a 6* and really liking her but now this. Please stop putting in champs that are broken, GET IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME!!!!!!!

The fix will change nothing on her abilities.
Due to a bug, she was being able to apply passive stun on stun immunity scenarios. Now she will not be able to do that.
The difference between buffs/debuffs and passive abilities is still important here

A bug since july 5th 2018?????? So let's clarify Stun immune champs, if it's a node that is stun immune she will still interact normally but if it's part of a champ ability than it would matter i.e. Emma frost and not sure who else is actually stun immune, please dont say mordo is because iceman will tell u otherwise.

Except it was not part of her kit, it was a bug that she allowed to do it. If you are immune to x then you are immune to x, if you are immune to x buff/debuffs then passives can get around that. Their kit is listed on their sheet.
