Beginner Difficulty Energy Use

Not sure if this is a bug, but Energy Use for the quests are as follows...
Chapter 1: 1/per tile
Chapter 2: 2/per tile
Chapter 3: 3/per tile
These were previously lower. Please verify if this is correct, or if it's a bug.

If memory serves me right the energy to move in beginner level difficulty for the monthly event quest has been 1 per move regardless of what chapter. Now chapter 2 is 2 energy and chapter 3 is 3 energy. Is this a bug or part of the update?

Beginner difficulty energy per step has only been 1 energy across all chapters very recently. Before that it normally had been 1/2/3 (or maybe think sometimes was 1/1/2 ??)

I’m well aware. I never said it had been this way for always. I asked if it was a bug or part of the update.

No, you implied that it is usually only 1 energy across the board, before you asked your question.

Could have just said... “recently the energy had been reduced to only 1, and now it is back at 1/2/3. Is this correct or a bug .” Instead of misleading any other newer people who never knew it used to be more.

Same problem here. For many months all chapters of Beginner level have been 1 per tile.

I remember too that for a while before they reduced all Chapters for Beginner to 1 per tile, energy for Beginner was 1 per tile on Chapter 1 and 2...and the energy for Beginner was 2 per tile on Chapter 3. I even found this thread to confirm that:

I don't know if it was ever as high as it is now, with no reduction compared to the other difficulties at all.

Oh, looks like previously it had only been 1/1/2 for a long time.

Wonder if they lowered to 1/1/1 because of the every day Side Quests recently.
Hopefully at 1/2/3 this month, that means no additional energy requirements for any other upcoming December special extra's.

Actually my exact words were “has been 1 energy per move” which if you look up the definition of “has” and “been” It represents a previous or past standard which can be any length of time. Now if I had said “it has ALWAYS been” that would be implying such.

Regardless my question stands. Is this the new standard cuz tbh the rewards from beginner are not worth that kind of energy spend. Me and others I know only do them for the units to push content with energy refills. If you guys are gonna raise the cost of them, you may just wanna take them out all together because even new players can push normal with the champs given nowadays.

The team has pushed a fix for this, so the Energy costs for Beginner difficulty should be 1 per step across the board now.

Will they be looking into those that already used Energy Refills? Personally, I only used 1 before I noticed it, but others may have used more.

I ran through part 1 and 2 before I noticed, so lost about 35 energy steps on part 2.
