Hawkeye’s Power Drain Inconsistent on Fisticuffs

On the Fisticuffs node in AW, sometimes Hawkeye’s power drain does not trigger. It is very inconsistent. I was facing a Hulk Ragnarok. Why is this?

I’ll try to post a video if it can figure out how to do it from an iPhone.

Afaik Hawkeyes powerdrain on sp1 cannot activate if he's up against fisticuffs. Powerdrain is inofitself a debuff so.
Hawkeyes powerdrain might be connected to his bleed needing to apply but don't quote me on that

Like I said, it does power drain most of the time. I take hawkeye to this node all the time. It only misfires occasionally.

My issue is that it is not consistent. The first one worked, so the second one should have worked too.

You're right, it's inconsistent.

Hawkeye is an original line-up champion. His power drain is coded as a debuff; it's just invisible. It'll trigger Masochism as well.

Dormammu's drain is presumably coded as a passive effect.
