Alternative options for abyss mephisto?

Don't have torch or void but I was wondering who else would work. I have havok and Colossus and a mutant ag but not sure how well Colossus does on his own w/ out synergies. Who is the better option?

Colossus won’t be the best due to the mystic fate seal node, havok should be pretty good tho, not buff reliant and a low hit playstyle

I agree with that. It’ll be a long fight. But I can’t imagine anyone else doing it more effectively.

Maybe sunspot? You can still place incinerates on Mephisto and pull them back.

Not sunspot, you’re gonna be giving Mephisto way too much power with all the incinerates. Havok is your best option.

Use him the same way you'd fight Abyss Havok. Parry/Heavy. Save for L3.

The heavy applies bleed and pushes Mephisto away, so you shouldn't be getting a ton of passive incinerate damage. The L3 will power drain him and heal you a bit. The infection will block his regen at 30% health.

Untested, but possibly an option.

CLAIRE easy solo.Go to hellfire phase and only do MLL combo.Pkay aggressive keep suicides on and make sure he keeps his aura on.In this case you will be able to throw almost 50 SP3 under 100 Schirmish charges/Hirs if you play aggressive.Thisnis the fastest solo after Human Torch.

And stay close to aura and only use sp3 when you have 20 charges which you will get intantly caus eof his aura.

Red Hulk should be a viable alternative as well. He is semi-immune to incinerate... Will convert any to heat but you will still take Aura Damage. Rulk can really put out the damage at 10 heat charges which he should be constantly at. Use fate seal debuff w/ WillPower to offset some of the Aura damage.

Don’t think he’s incinerate immune, when you’re fighting 2.6 million health that aura will destroy you

Well he sounded a bit desperate looking for alternatives to go in soon with not having Torch or Void so what kind of options do you think you will get?

Would Rulk work, sure, but he ain't going to be a Torch solo.

Possibly...but possibly not. The attack rating in the Abyss isn't nearly has high as people might assume. 2.6 Million health, but way less attack than most enemies in Act 6.

I've used Void on my runs so far, so I have no idea how much damage per tick we're talking about in this matchup, but Warlock has the benefit of a very quick heavy, so he shouldn't linger near Mephisto very long. Plus the healing from the L3 should offset some damage taken.

Again, I'm not saying he's the best option. The OP seemed desperate so I was just trying to throw out a somewhat unorthodox option to try.

@Spoodermain - found a video on YouTube of someone using a non-typical champ, Ghost, and for reference the Aura damage was 489 per tick

Yup, I am desperate 😂😂😂. I have a bad feeling as soon as I 5/65 my havoc I’ll pull a torch lmao
