Heroes Dashing on their own WITHOUT Swiping

My heroes STILL jump away from the opponent (aka dash) on their own several times per battle. They're supposed to only dash when I SWIPE the screen. Why do they dash when all I do is tap and block?

There was just a 4-hour maintenance last night and this glitch still hasn't been fixed? It's like, what the hell? This is a very serious glitch! It's more important than fixing one or two 5* specials that aren't working right cause this glitch effects EVERY hero in the game--not just one or two. I am getting tired of reporting it over and over again and being ignored. I REPORTED THIS GLITCH OVER A MONTH AGO AND IT HASN'T EVEN BEEN PUT INTO THE KNOWN ISSUES THREAD???

No where does it list Unprovoked Dashing, which is strange. I reported the bug over a month ago. Had anyone even bothered to read my post, it should have become a known issue immediately. Why am I being ignored?

I'm tired of losing in the Arena because of this glitch interrupting my combos and making my specials miss as a result of unexpectedly dashing too far away from the opponent to hit. Please fix this bug before it makes me quit!!!!!!!

This has been going on for a long time, and they just seem to completely ignore it. Also there's been an auto fight bug going on for awhile aswell that's apparently affecting most modes for months which is also basically being ignored.

I don't know if or when they're going to fix it, you might just have to get use to it like other people who also experience it or stop playing for awhile until they fix it but that could take quite awhile

I've also been checking somethings.

What i noticed was that if you take your hands off the screen then within a second our champs will just charge at the enemy for no reason and this happens everytime in all game modes so far.

This has been going on for while, and when you combine it with other issues then it will make combat controls very difficult or almost impossible depending on how many issues they experience in the fight.

Are you referring to the basic running animation? That I believe is intentional as it's existed for forever since I've been playing (almost a year).
If you're talking about the style of charge that is a screen swipe then I believe that issue has been specified in one of the other threads also with the latest patch bugs/notes.

More of a combination of various things, you could swipe all the way back and take your hands of controls or hold block and then they're charge into combat when you couple that with the auto fight bug that people have been reporting on it makes combat messy and uncoupatictive.

Let's say you don't touch anything at all an your character is just fighting by itself, or if your just sitting there holding block and they just charge ahead or just fire off a level one special for no reason or to take it further you lose all control over them or they just stop responding to your comands

There's been a lot if threads about issues in combat over the last few months and more come out each day

Nope, not the problem. It's a glitch. I play Injustice 2. It has the exact same swipe finger to dash forward or backward feature. Guess what? The game plays perfectly fine.

Seeing as the problem only exists on Contest of Champions and not on Injustice 2, it is obviously a bug. If it was a screen issue, then I should have experienced the same problem on Injustice 2 as well, but I don't; thus, proof that it is a glitch with Contest of Champions.

Need further proof? I cleaned the **** out of my screen with peroxide, yet the autodash backs still happen. My screen has nothing to do with it. It is a bug.

This problem STILL exists. My heroes keep jumping around on their own. It's gotten so bad I don't even do Play Versus anymore and only autobattle through quests. If you are too lazy to fix this glitch, then at least make autobattle available in Play Versus or make some way for me to turn off dashing in settings so I can start doing Play Versus again cause I am sick and tired of having MY heroes constantly dash away from the enemy.

P.S. I don't care if the opponent jumps around the screen like some monkey high on caffeine. However, I do have a problem when it is MY characters jumping around when autobattle is turned off. I cleaned my screen off with rubbing alcohol and the problem persists, so don't you dare try blaming your bug on my perfectly clean Ipad. You've been aware of this glitch for several months now and I am starting to get annoyed that you've done absolutely nothing to fix this issue.
