Iceman immunity logic

I love Iceman. He's a beast. But should he be as good as he is?

It's my opinion that his immunities don't make sense at all.

Bleed immune? Okay.. I could see it.

Poison immune? Not really... If Iceman drinks something with poison in it, why wouldn't he be poisoned? If groot can be poisoned, so can Iceman.

Incinerate immune? That makes no sense. Fire melts ice. Water (liquid) would be immune to incinerate, but ice? Iceman should Not be incinerate immune

Cold immune? Why the heck isnt he cold immune? Playing Iceman vs. Iceman both can have cold snap and frostbite effecting them? That makes no sense at all.

I suggest Iceman be cold immune and that incinerate cause 1.5x damage against Iceman. Poison I could go either way on.

Organic-Ice Form: Ability to not only cover his body with ice, but to actually become organic ice.[81] Though the appearance is similar, Iceman is now actually translucent in his ice form. Iceman is virtually indestructible in this form, allowing him to reform his body should it become shattered. He has been incinerated while in human form and was able to rebuild himself. In his ice form, he is able to use the moisture in the air to form spikes, shields and attach other extra appendages to his body. It is currently unknown if Bobby would be considered immortal.

While he cannot be destroyed by fire in the comics, and can eventually reform, but to even out some of his immunity in the game he should be susceptible to incinerate. As it said should he be shattered he can reform himself, however, that should take out a chunk of health. At least have an incinerate debuff can remove his ice armor temporarily.

His human form can be he in mcoc he is in organic ice form which is virtually indestructible

You ever tried to poison ice? It doesn't work. Plus he's an omega level mutant that can freeze anything around him to absolute zero.. the incineration literally wouldn't work as it would freeze before touching him

Fairly certain that GR is consumed by hell fire, a mystical type of fire. So technically (reaching, I know) he's not immune to regular fire/incineration

Lol. Okay, so we've thrown logic out the window and are just accepting Icemans comic book self, flawed logic and all, as the go to.... That's fine. Still doesn't explain how he isn't immune to coldsnap and frost bite.

Marvel universe plays by a diffrent set of rules and mcoc does the same in this universe there is a element called is 8 that affects things differently logic does not really apply to things when marvel is involved think about it if it did how can I stab rocket with a magik sword and have him get back up and still do full damage to me

Exactly, @DemonicStalker. There are plenty of examples of characters that should be intensely better than they are. Iceman... While awesome, shouldn't be as good as he is when magneto, Loki, venom, and others are not half as useful.

If we are going by comic book origins, then magneto should be untouchable by anyone with metal. Obviously this can't happen, but **** man, the least we can do is allow fire to melt ice and cold effects to ineffective. That just makes sense. Plain and simple.

I can see fire doing armor break on Iceman but not incinerate. Ice does not catch on fire. It would melt for as long as a heat source is on it, but I challenge any of you to actually catch ice on fire. The moment you take away the fuel for the fire, it would go out, and Ice/water is not a fuel for fire.
