Doom is the best counter for sure.

If you manage to play with Ebony Maw you can just steal his power gain buffs, and spam special attacks

Colossus! 1 shotted him on my first run. Had to eat an SP3. Finish with 12% health.

It's wonderful that there are several days in which you can earn the same rewards but catered to different classes that you'll probably have a counter for.

If you have no counters for any of the different available days, it might just be that the higher difficulty isn't the right level of difficulty for you at the moment.

With the Rich Get Richer node, a well built VtD should be interesting to try... May bring him in to build up on a run later this week.

Believe it's his tenacity shrugging the buff immunity

Doom with SS synergy in case you get cold snapped, plus you have the two best counters on your team.

Colossus and Thing are options too, but you still have to deal with the power gain.
