Question regarding Gwenpool's signature ability

So her signature ability plot Armor states she cannot lose health upto a certain amount plus she reduces defensive ability accuracy of opponents based on combo. I understand the offensive part of the ability but how does it help in an defensive aspect? Does having a high signature level matter for her?

Well she cannot get KOed by specials, only it's after effects like bleed/poison ect. Assassin's mastery can bypass this however

It takes awhile (a long while depending on hits taken) but GP will eventually die from a special; this is likely due to combat values only displaying whole numbers and eventually the game can no longer divide the fraction of HP she has left so she dies.
