Do you open basic or uncollected arena crystals and why?

There has data calculated to indicate that the overall drop rates of gold and units (over the course of time) is around the same. There are other things in there of course such as energy refills, and the Punishers (who probably needs a buff at this point). Despite all of that, which crystals do you prefer opening with your arena chips, and if you could please tell why.

Overall you'll get basically the same. That said, I feel all warm and fuzzy on the inside when I pop more crystals.

Reason is simple, takes much longer time to open regular Arena crysta than uncollected ones if you hoard BC and open at once

I hoard chips, so when I decide to open, I go UC. Percentage wise, I have found them both similar in terms of return.

Less chance of being shafted on the RNG because of the volume. Equally, less chance of winning the RNG competition.

The only difference between the two is 5* punisher so you’re probably better off opening the UC ones long term but if you need quick units for a cheeky revive here and there it’s probably more practical to open the regular ones.

With the gold boost active, I just opened 400 UC today for my bday. I open UC for the chance at getting a 5* Punisher.

Opened so many of these but he's still missing from my roster. Uncollected vs Basic is really the same. You just get x5 the reward for x5 the cost (with the added chance at a 5* Punisher). You just get the opportunity to spread out your RNG with the basics a bit more.
