Rank up gems

I have a generic 3-4 5* rank up gem for 2017 and before champs .. I also have a cosmic 3-4 5* rank up gem .. I want to rank up venom to rank 4 ... I wanted to use the generic one as venom is a 2017 and before champ,,, but its letting me to.do so .. Only option is to use the cosmic one i could not find a solution or an option to change the gem to be used ... Any help will be appreciated

But i can use it for future champs ... Its not fair also if i had a cosmic champ and use this one him i will be able to.use the other one on venom .. I think there is a bug or something

You’ll have to contact support to ask them about using the gem you want. Kabam obviously has no intention of fixing or address this since they ghosted my recent thread about the same issue
