Who the hell has a good counter to annihilus. He’s ridiculous in v6. I can’t for life of me beat hit with ghost. And anyone else can’t take his armor breaks and debuffs. Not to mention the poison kills anyone without being immune. Is stupid. Any suggestions other than unit man

Doom and Mephisto are the best counters IMO.... Mephisto is poison immune as well. I've had luck with Red Hulk in the past as well.

Why can't you beat it with Ghost? Just don't take blocked hits and you're good.

He's pretty tough, but he's also the first opponent on the path. Accept that you need a perfect game to take him, and just restart if you mess up. And try not to let it go you down...

I took him down (on about the tenth attempt) with Mephisto, who's a 1/25.

Red Hulk works. Another decent option is Taskmaster. He can survive one poison debuff (from the start of the game); then just block the first ten hits or so and you'll become immune to all future debuffs. You'll also then not have to deal with causing Annihilus becoming Unstoppable when you dash back, as he won't be able to apply Stifles.

I don't know why, but armor breaks also remove his Cosmic Rod. Never mentioned in his abilities, but it's there and I've beaten him that way before.

Also, as @Magrailothos mentioned, Taskmaster can become completely immune to his bull with some setup.
