I’ve gotten really close but haven’t actually done it 2) Red Guardian has a synergy with OR which makes him take 50% less damage from attacks when he's at full shield charge. Does this stack with 5*s sp3 protection bar of 12-20%, potentially allowing him to be a sp3 tanker?

With Mister Fantastic and Doc ock synergy. Science and tech champs can inflict power sting.

Yup. Emma, wasp, and spam both have power sting debuffs, so debuff immunity would work
Torch and yj (and I think the synergy Djin mentioned) have passives, so it would not work.
Ok, in short, to answer the OP of this question: Power Sting can be either passive or a debuff. The champs which have debuff immunity abilities, are immune to the debuff power stings. Purify would probably do the trick too. There are no immunities to power sting passive.

2-Star - 251-500 points
3-Star - 501-1500 points
4-Star - 1501-3000 points
5-Star - 3001+ points

Power Sting can be either passive or a debuff. The champs which have debuff immunity abilities, are immune to the debuff power stings. Purify would probably do the trick too.
