Ghost Rider - Some Stats - needs a tune up?

Total hits for that fight.

**Highest crit - 6 thousand. 3 times only with sp2.
**102 per tick DOT damage from sp3 damnation.
**302 per tick bleed from 4th light attack.
**Basic attack highest crit 1122 multiple times.

Usefullness & Flaws with respect to current Game State.

Champion 💪 plus point- Bleed & Incenerate Immunity.
Regeneration 💪 (once with 1 heavy. For go up to sp3 & then again once per heavy for another) But one of the best in the game.
One of the member of best 1st generation trio - holy Trinity. It helps Blade a lot(who is till date one of the best 1st generation champ - very very useful till date)💪

Champion Minus point -
DAMAGE & DOT effects are very very weak.
Very small power control from sp2.
A fury finishing a combo with a medium attack.
Very small buff nullification from 4th light attack followed by sp1.

**Problem is nullification or power control can used once per rotation, for another use build up to sp3 and do that all over again, & they are activated for very small amount of time
and champ's crit value and base attack value, spcial attack value is extremely outdated.

CONCLUSION - GOOD CHAMPION FOR START UP. USABLE TILL ACT 4. AQ MAP 3. AW TIER 9 MAY BE TIER 8.

Value update?
Poision immunity?
Incenerate DOT from sp2?

I think he recently got incinerate immunity.

I agree that he does need tuneup of damage and debuffs and buffs.
Also, if somehow he gets some power gain buff to reach specials quickly, it will be very helpful for him.

Yes. Totally agree. A power gain buff would be very very useful.
Like ending a 4 hit combo with a light attack can activate a power gain buff for 3 seconds or something like that.
Anyway.

If the person who designed doom does the tune up. I love rotation game play. May be he would do an amazing job with the tune up.

He's not outdated, he's just a bit past his prime. An outdated champion would be Juggernaut.

Did juggy ever had any use? I mean. I said GR is outdated cz he used to be useful a long long time ago.. now he is just there. Nobody uses ghost rider after act 4.

I don't think juggy had any usage ever. I mean he got no damage nothing in terms of attack. I have seen him on tier 10 war defence way back in the day probably.

I don’t think GR was ever meant to be a damage beast , he still has some of the most powerful regen in game .

On point. I definitely needs a tune up.
He is a well known character. Fan favourite. OG 1st generation champ. A tune up wrt modern meta would be very much appreciated.
But yeah. He is definitely not on the buff list. I mean obviously other champs will come first. So may be down the line somewhere near future. ✌🏼

I think after end of every secondary effects he should gain one bar of power gain.
It will help him so much.
Also, if somehow we can stack those fury or make one fury as passive, he will become so good

In general I'd agree, but in this case there's neither an inflated nor deflated hit count (as opposed to champs like BWDO or Colossus etc). GR's 440 hits directly translate to around 80 full 5-hit combos and several specials.

In addition to the other stats in the post, I think it's fair to say he deals very little damage compared to other champs at that power level

GR does not need a tuneup, at all. He's not meant for big damage, his survivability is among the best in the game.

You can't just make every champ good at everything.

I disagree about not using GR past Act 4 - he's perfectly useable clearing Act 5; but I agree his damage starts becoming somewhat inadequate into Act 6.

I still think he's got other value - his sustainability is his most impressive ability; with his regen potential and double immunities. He'd be very suicide-friendly, with his amazing regen potential. And his SP3 damnation effect is still massively useful - so much so, they recently gave Cosmic GR the same ability for his Sig!

Comparing him at 5/65 to a few other champs, to kill Winter Soldier, he takes 6min34s, which is pretty bad. (Awakened, high Sig, no synergies, I don't run suicides, but I play well enough with him to maximise his potential)

He'd do better against a Villain, as he'd have a higher Crit rate and better Judgement ability accuracy.

By comparison:
Killmonger took 3min57
CMM takes 3min54
Magneto (Red) took just 2min6s to finish. So he's doing three times GR's damage (admittedly, with Class Advantage)

Based on that, a small value tune-up doesn't seem unreasonable; but he's nowhere near the front of the queue. Other Classic champs like Cap, Spidey, Hulk, and Iron Man need it far more than GR does. (Although Classic Cap is surprisingly fun to take into the Cav EQ, thanks to the Scientific Exploit node...)

These champs don't stand in front of GR in the queue tho. They're in a completely different queue, waiting for a total rework. There are champs that will likely get tuned before him (ThorRag, Diablo, Air-Walker etc), but it's not these

Nice input bud. As from personal experience i have to admit he was one of the first champ i got from gwenpool goes to movies event he was pretty useful.
There are some fights in act 5 GR was irreplaceable at that time...(ex Morningstar Boss)
But it i have to say this his fights are extremely long and boring. Basically he does very little in terms of attack.
He do have value i will never deny that.
He is just the perfect nor here nor there type champ... The perfect mediocre champ. (As previously mentioned by someone)

I am just saying that may be a value tune update would do him justice. He is extremely important character and globally known. That's all.

Blade had that amaizing #mystic denger sense cz of GR.
& Both of them are till date beast when it comes to attack. One of the most smoothest champs. Those two.

While GR was usable upto a point. After that he was there just to make Blade more useful.

Very true...wish GR got a little more out of his CGR synergy, but he could have been synergy-ghosted like OGCM was with CMM.

Classic Cap doesn’t need a complete rework. Just some adjustments (at least keep the great block prof)

Yeah but knowing that GR has a 5 hit cycle, a low hit sp1 and an average hit sp2, seeing a 400+ Hit fight you know it’s a long fight. The only way 400 hits is fast is if a champ has a 50 hit sp2

It's embarrassing but at times fighting with him feels hands are getting numb..
It's just extremely boring.
He doesn't have anything cool going on as an attacker. U just stay there.. and it's again extremely boring.
