Character design (visual design, not their animations or play flow), Ægon still looks amazing.

As for animations, Prof X and Mr N are incredibly well animated.

I have a soft spot for Ikaris personally.

Unsurprisingly, I'll go for Mr Negative. Ignoring anything about his abilities for once, his design is just perfection. The Sp3 gives me chills, his evade animation is so cool, his Sp2 feels like you're tearing the opponent apart, his victory animation is just *chef's kiss*. Just amazing.

Honestly, give whoever designed his animations a raise, and then another one.

Purely visual, kitty. Her sp3 with Lockheed is awesome. I like everything about the character. Just super fun to play.

1) Air-Walker: SP3 is by and large the most impressive we've seen. Imperious.

2) The Overseer: Block animation is top, the SP1 has such an otherworldly feel to it and the SP3 is so satisfying to watch.

3) Sersi: SP2 and SP3, my goodness the detail on that SP3 almost makes it look like a cutscene from a movie. No words for this.

4) Ikaris: SP2 has arguably the most satisfying feel in game, especially when those Incinerates stack so fast.

5) Doctor Doom: Block animation, VFX on basic and special attacks, they did incredibly well to showcase electric yellow for his tech prowess orange for hellfire from Haazareth and green for his magic. Heck, the ground under him lights up in green when he'd under Haazareth. If that's not genius idk what is.

6) Black Widow Clair Voyant: VFX on basic attacks and the sound animation are genius, perfectly embodies the spellcasting and witch vibe, enchanting. SP2 with the shadow limbs is a work of art, and the genius behind her design and its function is ... something else.

7) Jubilee: wack VFX and an excellent SP3, honestly looks like a massive Diwali festival.

8) Spider Man 2099: that SP3 is a metronome, you could put a symphony as background music and it would fit so well, so very artistic.

9) Human Torch: Nova Flames, SP2 and SP3, that wink and fire cyclone never get old.

10) Cosmic Ghost Rider: Block animation (electric blue for Cosmic power), Heavy charge (orange for hellfire), a bike powered by Cosmic wheels for entrance and victory, SP3 bringing it all together with the guns and chains. LIT.

These are my top 10 to be honest.
Always fascinated by them and have been caught out in fights a fair few times just watching some of them.

Honourable mention to Spider-Ham, Ronin's SP2 and Stealthy's victory animation.

2) The Overseer: Block animation is top, that blue hue when you hit into the block is so mesmerizing. The SP1 has such an otherworldly feel to it, and the SP3 even more so when he ambushes you with that Cosmic cube.

3) Sersi: SP2 and SP3, my goodness the detail on that SP3 almost makes it look like a cutscene from a movie. The way her eyes light up as she sets the stone on fire and casts it into the well. Goosebumps. Seriously, speechless.

4) Ikaris: SP2 has arguably the most satisfying feel in game, you can feel the power in it with the number of times it hits the opponent. That added touch when he flicks around at the beginning for superhuman momentum further emphasizes this. And the satisfaction you get when you see those Incinerates stack so fast. Obliteration.

Oh and anothe honourable mention to Red Goblin, who I assessed when making the list.
That manic joy he derives from summoning all those Carnage bombs in his SP3 is EPIC. So epic it's actually endearing.

CGR looks amazing. The colours and animations (rotating skull when stunned, special attacks and sounds).

Also Warlock, the new Morningstar etc. There are just too many well designed champs.
