Not sure, but I believe that it depends on the level and not the rank, and since your starting at level one again, it has dropped.

It’s the same with every champ, next rank up level 1 the pi is lower then previous rank max level, also that’s PI not prestige

Happens with almost every champ. He’s just gone from being level 35 to level 1 again.
