CGR or Herc to R3 first.

I'm a few shards away from my first cosmic t5cc and I just pulled Herc a few ago.

I have been using CGR for the past few months and he was always the one I was going to R3 but now that Herc just arrived, I'm now in a dilemma

Help and include why please. Thank you.

If Herc was dupped, immortality would be a strong argument for him. But he isn't, so I'd wait if christmas by any chance gives 6* AG and if not, decide based on personal preference, suicides and synergies

If you're great at intercepts them herc.

If you're okay with getting hits in block and avoid using Dex, then cgr.

I have both at R3 and it depends on the fight.

If there isn't anything stopping me from throwing armour breaks, then I'll go with CGR as he'll end the fight fast.

Else, if they are armour break immune or evades, etc, then I'll go with herc.

I have both. Rank 3. Cgr better in all ways Except broken immortality garbage. If you need that immortality pick herc. If you want triple or more the damage pick cgr.

Hercs dupe is nice, but it really isn’t needed. Just like CAIW, great without the dupe, but the dupe just takes them to the next level and makes them look weak without it because of the power it contains, atleast to the players eye. Tough decision, can’t go wrong between the 2. CGR is a meh miss counter but it’s there nontheless, think duration is increased if you have buffs on you. Armor breaks are very nice, power gain too. Incinerate and bleed immunity high crit rate with cruelty boosting it,, solid synergy teams, outstanding damage, however rather buff reliant for most of his damage. Assuming he isn’t awakened the 2 are pretty even. Herc has a little bonus to make heroes with suicides deal more damage, and i believe the highest base damage in the game with his feats of strengths passives. Sp1 grants him some more crit rating, poison and bleed resistant, and his infuriate is really good for easy intercepts, helps ramp him up and get that sp2 damage up higher than it is. Burst damage is also nice for places that basic hits don’t do damage, atleast i think thats how it works. Stun immunity for reflecting stun, encroaching stun, etc nodes is pretty solid too. Believe his sp2 penetrates through armor as well to make up for not having armor break. Solid synergies around him too.

I feel like hercules is safer to play, and has great control of the fight (andCGR if duped for that powerlock), but CGR when he works, works very well as he ends fights ridiculously fast. Nodes that cancel out his buffs, power gain, armor breaks or stun though could hurt at times. I would go herc because that infuriate just makes the passive AI so less irritating but if you find yourself clearing content with CGR all the time, go for it. Both are fun to play too.

I'll be taking my herc to r3 unduped, and the only use my r5 cgr gets is potion farming, which r3 herc will eventually take over.

Herc hands down, even if unduped. I love my r3 Herc and I use him all over the place, way more than my r3 CGR

As a rank3 CGR and a rank 2 hércules, both unduped, go for hércules.

I don't have a proper opinion, but I'll just say, herc's insane damage you see does not need the dupe, the dupe adds more cheese fights, and can save you a revive here and there. On the other hand, CGR's damage is so stupid that the difference between r2 and r3 is one combo, but still nice. So it's up to personal preference really
