Alliance War Bug

The other team has 55 attacker kills. We only have a max of 50 defenders in a BG. What on earth is this?

So…the bug is known but nobody is doing anything? I don’t care if the other team didn’t purposely take advantage. If we both 💯 our maps and my team has better overall non-bugged stats, the other team should not be allowed to win by having more attack bonus for extra non-existent defenders.

This is not a fair way to do AW.

It's an advantage for you. They don't get extra points for defeating more defenders. It's only attack bonus that matters. And going through an empty tile gives the same as defeating in one shot

That is not how it works. The same attack bonus is on the map regardless of the # of defenders. However, you do run the risk of losing more attack bonus with extra defenders on the enemy team.

There were no extra defenders. That is the issue. It thinks there were, but there were only actually 50 on nodes.

There is no advantage to us when they only beat 50 defenders but get credit for beating 55…

Been mentioned (and acknowledged) a number of times that it is a bug and being investigated by Kabam (curious to know where you think you saw that they are NOT planning on doing anything about it ?)

And as others mentioned, you do not get points directly for beating an opponent (so 55 vs 50 doesn’t directly translate to more points).
You get Attack Bonus for stepping onto a “numbered” node. 3x80 for stepping onto it (whether defended or empty) on your first try. 2x80 if you step onto it after a 2nd fight. 1x80 after a 3rd fight.

That summary screen (example using your 1 BG War case) could have said 85 attacker kills vs your own 50 kills and still wouldn’t have directly given them any more points.

There are ZERO extra defenders on nodes. They have 5 EXTRA attack kills for NO reason, which could be extra attack bonus for them…. All the advantage lies with them…

In their comment in that link they say they are NOT doing anything to fix. They say they will review it at the end of the season to see if anyone INTENTIONALLY takes advantage.

I don’t care if the unfair advantage is intentional or not. It still costs a team a win that should have been theirs whether intentional on their part or not. Kabam’s bug should not cost tram’s rewards.

You get full attack bonus for clearing nodes that don’t have champs

Correct. You aren’t supposed to get EXTRA credit though.
