Been a player now from the beginning and I've spent lots of money on the game. Today, I finally realized this game is no longer for me. The gold shortage is embarrassing to still be a problem in 2022. Also, kabam always introduce nodes to make the game harder but never add anything to help the players other than "spend more money logic". "Do you bleed" node is clearly a cash out. Act 6.1 is harder than 6.2, IMO like WTF. I'm going to stop spending on this game until

Well each to there own. I’ve gone through periods of time I want to quit the game. Personally I’m paragon (more money based than skill), but still have 4m gold and about 25m in unopened gold crystals. I often go through cycles of feeling the game is just a cash grab, but then it is a choice to spend (or not). I’m never going to be in a top 30 or even 300 Alliance so the game can be as pay to win as it wants, I’ll never be at the top of the tree even if the game was totally FTP.

Act 6 is easier now than it’s ever been. But just do an initial clear and move to act 7. Rewards for act 6 are nice now, but if you’ve not done it, it’s not game breaking rewards.

Sounds like you’re frustrated so maybe a good idea to stop spending.

I think they meant that they are embarrassed that they have mismanaged their resources. Hard concept to understand that if you spend more then you bring in that’ll you’ll have a shortage.

There isn’t really a gold shortage, if you do arena and incursions there’s plenty. If you aren’t prepared to do them, you’ll have to slow down on your ranking up champions.

If kabam didn’t introduce nodes to make the game harder it would be boring.

They also add plenty to help the players, there are 2 new champions added every month with new abilities to combat a range of nodes. And while it takes 6 months or so before you are likely to start getting them, that means that you should around now start getting the sorts of champions that were released 6 months or more ago. The sorts of champions like Kitty, Nimrod, Cap Sam, Toad etc. And Omega sentinel is about to be added to the pool.

Act 6, which you seem to be stuck on, has also had its second or third big Nerf, so it’s getting easier and easier for you.

With many, many bleed champions or high block damage champions in the game, that is a baffling point of view. I can list a fair few, Wolverine, Nick Fury, moleman, Jabari, masacre, aegon, Corvus, Domino, Killmonger. Plus many more. If you’re stuck on it, share your roster and we can help

I strongly, strongly disagree. Act 6.1 has 6 global s that are objectively much easier than what you have to deal with in 6.2. You may have a bigger issue with 6.1 because of your roster and what they counter perhaps, but 6.2 is a lot harder.

Do you bleed? Back in the day there was maybe 1 great solution (Symbiote Supreme) and a couple of terrible ones. Now there are plenty.

I find just a little arena grind keeps my gold topped up nicely I've not had an issue with gold or iso for years

I think the gold issue is ambivalent. I am an arena grinder (top 1-5% in featured twice a week), and cant remember when I had below 120m gold. No matter how many champs, I rank (have a 3,6m account), my gold seems to increase.

So you've been playing for 7 years but your still on 6.2?! It seems like you haven't played much in those 7 years so to announce your quitting doesn't pull much weight since you are on content that a new account could easily reach in 1-2 months.

Is that the word response is quite surprising, if you want to quit because of act 6 being tough then so be it, not everyone is a top skilled player who can do all the content in the game, you’ve probably had a lot of ups and downs in your 7 years of playing so if you think the time is right then quit, if you still like the game then stay

Ya surely they need $ to develop the game more interesting.
If you want to finish fresh new chapters/events at the very beginning, you'll need skill/time/money.

The answer is simple: You need a diverse team. If you're tackling act 6 with no knowledge of what each champ brings to the team, it's going to be an uphill battle. Things have actually become easier thanks to the Act 6 nerf.

If you need some suggestions on how to get through easier, I would recommend working on the following characters (assuming you have them)

- Hercules
- Mole Man
- Mr. Negative
- Warlock
- Cosmic Ghost Rider
- Penni Parker
- Immortal Abomination
- Hyperion
- Apocolypse
- Wolverine
- Knull

There's plenty more but these should get you through Act 6 relatively easy.

Knull + Venom the Duck = Survivability
Apoc + Wolverine = Survivability + bleed immunity
Penni is force of nature
CGR wrecks everything
Hercules is a literal cheat sheet
Hyperion is old reliable

If you're still intent on leaving, go for it.

What have you tried out in 6.1?

If you’re in 6.2 then you should have gotten past 6.1 at least once. And since you’ve done it already, just do it again?

And also, there is no gold shortage. In fact, the amount of gold you can attain in the game is roughly 9,000,000,000,000,000 before you hit a cap iirc.

Posts like this really bring out the toxicity of forums. I guess there are two types of forum posters, ones who actually give suggestions, and ones that are just here to find people to belittle. Was it really worth your time to come on here to tell someone you think they are pathetic. Did that bring you enjoyment, did that make you feel better about your day. I think more people need to quit the forum than the game, and to the op yeah I stopped spending money on this broken game years ago, I would feel annoyed if this bug fest was what I was throwing money at, now I dont spend a cent and it makes me feel better knowing that kabam aren’t having a laugh with my money.
