Rank Down tickets for DDHK

In light of the latest issues with The Devil of Hell’s Kitchen, I believe Kabam should provide the community with rank down tickets and return signature stones where possible.

I have reached a point where I cannot explain what is happening with his kit, and unless attention is given to this kit, then it is only fair to those who ranked him up that their resources are returned.

Here are the list of bugs found in the last week for your reference:

1) Utility bug:

I don't think they will give rank down tickets for the one you who actually ranked him up

Did you see the latest bugs? They’re not minor bugs mate. He’s not functioning properly and they don’t seem to want to fix him unless it’s a crazy pro-player bug like the damage spike I found.
So, what gives?

Forum family: a lot of you might find it ironic that I’m the same person that found the damage bug and called him BGT, but I am merely showing you my findings. I am not wildly claiming anything that isn’t based off of facts and testing. Please keep this in mind!

You can't expect a player to "test" the abilities before ranking a champion up. What's written in the abilities should happen.

I tend to agree. I mean other champs have been bugged for a long period of time before being fixed, so that remains a possibility. Kingpin was bugged for over a year before he was fixed. I think the big difference here is that Kingpin was still a monster. DDHK is not sadly.

However, if a champ is not working as intended and there is no sign of a fix coming soon, then Kabam should do the right thing and make it right. If that means fixing the champ (obviously preferred) then great. If it means issuing rank down tickets, then fine. I am not a fan of rank down tickets being commonplace just for the record.

The last thing we need is for Kabam to normalize bugged champions amongst the community. Regardless of how popular or unpopular. Ethics are ethics and principles are principles.

Thank you for your comment. I started out my gaming time today with the intent of showing off DDHK’s utility, and then I got slapped in the face with these bugs.
I’m against the principle of RDTs as well, defeats the purpose of the game, but as you said, if they don’t commit to making him work as intended then Kabam should make it right by issuing them.

If you can’t understand that, then simply take your favourite champion the imagine that their utility, damage and sig were all bugged within the same week, and then try to imagine what you would do about it!

Using someone else defeats the purpose and unfortunately the forums is the right place to address champ bugs.
Support deal with account specific issues.

At this point, immediate action needs to be taken to fix his kit, which should be the priority. Considering the champion is working just so horribly different than what is intended, should make it a top issue that needs fixing. Now, I understand that the team can't just snap their fingers and fix him, and that's understandable. But if he's going to be fixed correctly, part of that process is communicating with players and explaining what's going on and what the timeline is looking like.

He definitely needs to be fixed asap, but rdt seem a bit of a stretch considering the usual time between the bug being recognized and a fix, and this scenario

because in light of what should have been a real fix, it only makes the above inconsistencies stand out more. he's one of my favorite champs now, then and in the future BUT i too would love to see him actually working as intended. even without the latest fix . just the normal stuff working as intended.

and i'll say again they should have just kept the fix and not hide behind some "oops" excuse. you have champs in the game that hit 3 or 4 times as hard even with that little fix but they felt the need to revert him back in an even worse state.

S’alright @Colinwhitworth69 I didn’t take it the wrong way! I’m almost always aligned with what you have to say on the forums. Issue is that at first I noticed that DDHK had a huge spike in damage, and I was excited to share that with the forums. Following some more testing, I discovered that the damage declined steeply after 220+ hits, until he ended up doing no damage. Then I found these two bugs today. It’s honestly harrowing.

First, this would be an exceptionally difficult case to make for RDTs. The reason RDTs went out in the Mole Man situation was because the bug went without confirmation for over a year and a half. But this is a situation where the bugs have existed short term, and we've been in constant communication about them.

Regardless, I have brought the three points in this thread to the attention of the game team. They're going to investigate them and confirm if they are bugs. If they are, they'll start investigating the cause and implement a fix soon.

It's also worth noting that we didn't change anything after last week's bug fix that saw him putting up huge numbers. He was wonky then and it looks like we're seeing new ways he could be not operating as intended.

I'll report back when I have more information from the game team!

Rank down tickets aren't needed, but a proper fixing of his kit is imo
