Just wondering is galans stick an easteregg because I see there is 6* colour up the bottom half of his septor but on the other half is it the possible colour of a 7* hmm thoughts??

I think it's just the design they chose.
Plus, one side is Solar, the other is Planetary. Gameplay purpose.

No tinfoil theories here
